名师简介
罗美中，1957年生，华中农业大学教授，博士生导师。1982年湖南农学院（现湖南农业大学）植物生理生化师资班毕业，获学士学位。1985年获北京农业大学（现中国农业大学）植物生理生化硕士学位。1985年到1989年先后在中国农科院蔬菜所和生物技术中心工作，1989年2月赴意大利罗马大学进修与合作研究，1995年获意大利Pavia大学分子遗传学博士学位，同年进入美国Clemson大学进行博士后研究，1998年被Clemson大学基因组研究所聘为研究助理教授，2002年起负责美国Arizona大学基因组研究所BAC中心，2005年3月被华中农业大学作为一级人才引进，2006年7月正式辞去Arizona大学基因组研究所BAC中心负责人职务全职回国。为美国农业部农业植物生化项目（Agricultural Plant Biochemistry Program）评审专家和BMC Genomics, Genome, Theor Appl Genet, BioTechniques等杂志审稿人。发表SCI论文30多篇，其中包括Nature, Genome Research, PNAS, Plant Cell等国际一流刊物。目前主讲《大片段DNA克隆与应用》课程，承担《生物信息学》课程和其系列课程的部分教学任务。 近年以通讯作者或第一作者发表的相关代表论著： Meizhong Luo（通讯作者）, Yeisoo Yu, HyeRan Kim, Dave Kudrna, Yuichiro Itoh, Robert J.
