班士良博士, 蒙古族，1956年出生, 教授，内蒙古大学理论物理专业博士生导师;理论物理、凝聚态物理专业硕士生导师，内蒙古大学物理科学与技术学院院长、物理科学与技术学院学术委员会主任、中国物理学会理事、中国物理学会教学委员会委员、全国热力学与统计物理教学研究会秘书长、内蒙古物理学会理事长。 内蒙古自治区有突出贡献中青年专家; 1996年获国务院政府特殊津贴。 1998年入选自治区“321人才工程”第一层次人选. 2001年入选自治区高等教育“111工程” 第一层次人选， 2002年入选自治区“新世纪321人才工程”第一层次人选。 2002自治区高校教师“三育人”先进个人；教育部授予高等学校优秀骨干教师; 2003年被自治区党委、政府授予优秀留学回国人员称号. 1988年9月至1989年9月访加拿大舍布鲁克大学， 1997年8月至1998年8月访美国西佐治亚州立大学。 合作项目《异质结构材料中电子与声子作用及相关问题的理论研究》1998年获内蒙古自治区科技进步三等奖。 合作项目《半导体异质界面和表面的电子态》于2002年获内蒙古大学科技创新一等奖，。 多年来从事物理学方面的教学工作，曾主讲本科生《热力学与统计物理》、《统计热力学》、《力学》、《物理学发展史》、《微机数值计算》等课程; 主讲《高等统计物理》和《高等量子力学》等研究生课程。 合作完成《统计热力学》教材一部，于2000年正式出版。合著《层状材料中电子-声子相互作用和自旋波理论》（英文）学术专著一部，于1995年由内蒙古大学出版社出版。 一直从事凝聚态理论方面的学术研究，近年来与合作者在半导体层状材料（如异质结、量子阱）中的电子态、极化子、激子及电子-声子相互作用等方面的研究。已发表学术论文80余篇, 参加和主持完成国家和省部级科研项目20余项。 现主持国家自然科学基金项目《压力下半导体异质结构中电子-声子相互作用及相关问题》，近期发表的主要学术论文： 1.
